People: “Don’t talk about your suffering when there is someone suffering far more than you.”
Jesus: “Talk to me about your suffering, and I won’t make you feel guilty even though I suffered far more than you.“
Christian, don’t present a Savior who is only concerned once someone‘s pain and loss hits a certain mark on the Suffering-O-Meter. Jesus isn‘t an insurance policy with a high deductible—He’s a friend who’s concerned with every part of your pain, loss, and suffering without guilting you for how it compares to someone else’s.
